We stayed in Donnybrook Hall in December and had a great time. The room was lovely and bright and very clean, Terry and his staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked to order. Donnybrook Hall is only five minutes by bus from all that Dublin has to offer, there are some lovely restaurants in the area. I am looking forward to going back to Dublin and I would definitely stay in Donnybrook Hall again.

A really spendid place, quiet, elegant, efficient & friendly. So close to Donnybrook and the big advantage - around the corner from the airport coach drop off. Hope to be back again soon.

Donnybrook Hall is located near the city centre of Dublin, Ireland in the village of Donnybrook. Donnybrook is a thriving commercial district in Dublin's most prestigious address - Dublin 4.

MAJOR UPCOMING DUBLIN & RDS EVENTS

Donnybrook's main shopping street is a two minute walk - just far enough away so that traffic noises don't intrude. Within a three minute walk there are half a dozen restaurants and two pubs - everything from fine dining to Asian, carvery to hamburgers. Markets, chemists, fruit and news stands are all located in the thriving commercial area.

Three city centre bus routes pass our corner so there's never much of a wait for public transport. Leave your car parked on our safe residential street and enjoy a multitude of public transport choices. The nearest bus stop is a two minute walk. Aircoach Bus Service to Dublin Airport also stops here.

You can walk into the city centre since the lovely stroll takes only about 20 minutes. Simply head out along Donnybrook Road and follow it to Saint Stephen's Green. Along the way, you pass some of Dublin's most beautiful and prestigious addresses. It's a great way to get a feel for the city away from the hubbub of the commercial centre.

The lovely UCD campus is near to Donnybrook Hall. Students from around the world come to study in this largest of all Irish universities. Donnybrook Hall makes a convenient and inexpensive base for parents and friends visiting UCD students.

The Royal Dublin Showgrounds is the centre of Ireland's equestrian world during Horse Show in August. Throughout the year it serves as Dublin's main exhibition hall and convention centre. Donnybrook Hall is conveniently close to the RDS hall.

The spectacular Aviva Stadium is the new home of Irish Rugby Internationals and Irish Football Internationals. As well, it is used for exhibitions and meetings. Donnybrook Hall is a short walk from the Stadium.

The O2 is Ireland's premier concert and entertainment venue. This is the place that the big, big names play. The acoustics are excellent and the setup is state of the art.

Wild Wicklow - Tours of the lovely nearby Wicklow Mountains. Visit Glendalough 6th century monastery and national park as well as other breathtaking sites.
